MEET THE CHAMPION
ABRAM "TOO TALL" DIAZ
There’s a reason players call him Too Tall — and it’s not just his height at the table. Abram Diaz has built a career standing over the toughest shots in artistic pool and making them look routine. He’s a three-time WPA World Jump Division Champion, the 2021 WPA U.S. National Artistic Pool Champion, and the 2017 WPA Mexican National Artistic Pool Champion.
What sets Abram apart isn’t just the hardware. It’s that he’s spent as much time at the workbench as he has at the table. Years of competing at the highest level taught him exactly what a cue needs to hold up under real pressure — balance, consistent tip response, a joint that doesn’t creep, a shaft that doesn’t let you down on the shot that matters.
Today, Abram splits his time between competing, building custom cues, starting with his signature Magic Wand Jump Cue, and repairing and restoring cues for players who refuse to settle for “good enough.” He also takes on a handful of exhibitions and trade show appearances each year.
“I've competed at the highest level, so I know exactly what it takes to build and maintain a cue that holds up when it matters.”
— Abram “Too Tall” Diaz
